The Edgewater Greek Fest is St. Andrew’s opportunity to offer “filoxenia” - the hallmark Greek concept of hospitality to the Edgewater community each year. We look forward to sharing our faith, food, and culture again this year with our neighbors.
There is paid valet parking in our South lot, free street parking on Sheridan Road from Hollywood to Berwyn and free parking at Emanuel Congregation.
For our St. Andrew’s Parish Family, we will need all hands on deck to again make this year’s event possible. Please volunteer for our 2025 Edgewater Greek July 12-13 at St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church, Chicago, IL.
Join us for our Summer Lecture Series, as we will spend three sessions focusing on the Feastdays of Summer.
Classes: July 30, August 6, August 13.
Time: 8-9:30pm
Place: Presidents’ Room and online.
Join us for our 2025 Vacation Church Camp! We look forward to hosting our preschool to 8th graders for a faith and fun filled week, August 4-8, 2025, 9am-noon each day. Activities will include:
-Learning more about the Feastdays of Christ, including the Transfiguration
-Arts & Crafts connected to our theme
-Fun time playing at the park/splash pad and in the gym
-Snacks and camper shirt included! Registration will cost $20/camper, with a cap of $50/family.

Dear St. Andrew’s Parish Family,
Our Parish Council is happy to announce the annual St. Andrew’s Parish Golf Outing will be held on
Thursday, September 11, 2025 at. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch. The golf scramble will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. with a shotgun start.
Afterwards, there will be a wonderful dinner buffet and raffle to follow. We welcome our entire Parish
Family, relatives, and friends to join us for a day of golf and fellowship. There are many ways to
support the success of this event, including: golfing, becoming a sponsor, or attending the dinner.
Individuals can sign up to play golf and/or bring a foursome to play. The donation to play golf is $175
a person or $700 for a foursome. The golf registration fees include: a round of golf, the cart, lunch,
gifts, prizes, and a buffet dinner with two complimentary drink tickets. For those who do not play golf,
supporters can sponsor a hole with a custom sign displaying your name, a special message or a
business logo. Additionally, sponsor information will be mentioned on our parish website and in the
monthly Anchor newsletter. Finally, individuals can choose to offer or underwrite a special donation

the St. Andrew’s Parish Family, our friends and relatives to share in a day of fellowship and fun! All
